Venkat Boppana is a seasoned financial services professional with extensive experience in technology and operations management across multiple leading firms. Currently serving as Managing Director at Morgan Stanley since June 2007, Venkat oversees Asia Product and Product Operations. Previously, experience at ETRADE FINANCIAL as Director/Senior Manager involved managing IT needs across Asia Pacific for brokerage businesses, while roles at UBS Japan and Deutsche Securities focused on operations IT and settlement systems. Venkat's career began as a Systems Analyst at Citi, working on credit risk applications, and earlier experience at Tata Consultancy Services included the development of integrated application systems. Venkat holds an MBA from Southern Illinois University, a Master’s in Technology from Jadavpur University, and a Bachelor’s in Technology from Mangalore University.
