Nikhil Samant has extensive experience in the financial services and technology sectors, currently serving as Executive Director at Morgan Stanley since January 2021. Prior to this, Nikhil held the position of Senior Vice President at Edelweiss Private Wealth Management, where leadership was provided to a team of over 100 members focused on digital transformation within Wealth and Asset Management. Nikhil also served as Executive Director at Bank Julius Baer, overseeing IT platforms for India’s wealth management and establishing an offshore delivery center. Previous roles at Bank of America Merrill Lynch included Director and Vice President, involving cross-functional team leadership for technology solutions related to wealth management divestments. A strong technical foundation was built as Vice President at Merrill Lynch, leading order management technology, and through earlier software engineering roles. Educational qualifications include a Post Graduate Diploma in Advanced Application Engineering from Boston Institute and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from the University of Mumbai.
