Sebastian Vasquez has a diverse range of work experience spanning across multiple industries. Sebastian is currently the CEO at Greenfence Security, a position they have held since November 2020. Prior to this, they worked at Morgan & Morgan as the IT Governance, Projects and Security Manager (Acting CISO), as well as a Project Manager. Sebastian also founded ComunidadDOJO, a community organization, where they participated in various teams to achieve organizational objectives. Sebastian has a background in information systems and completed their graduate studies in the field at New York University. Sebastian has also worked in the Panamanian Government as a Project Managers' Coordinating Officer, overseeing the delivery of projects and reducing delivery times. Sebastian has held roles as a Network Security Engineer at both Cable Onda and Telecarrier, where they led the design and deployment of managed security service solutions. Additionally, Sebastian has worked as a Senior Network and Security Engineer at Morgan & Morgan, and as a Linux Programmer at Incuweb, where they worked on various projects involving programming and database management.

Sebastian Vasquez has a diverse education history. Sebastian obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Informatics from Universidad de Panamá, which they completed from 1997 to 2001. In 2009, they participated in an immersion program on Information Security at the Haas School of Business, University of California, Berkeley, where they received a Participation Certificate.

To further enhance their expertise, Sebastian pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree at the Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences, New York University, specializing in Information Systems from 2011 to 2013.

In addition to their formal education, Sebastian has obtained several certifications. Sebastian became a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) in August 2008, awarded by (ISC)². Sebastian holds a certification as a Certified Az Red Team Professional from Pentester Academy, obtained in June 2022. Sebastian also received certifications as a Fortinet Certified Network & Security Associate from Fortinet and as a Sun Certified System Administrator from Sun Microsystems, both in 2008.
