Kamilah Claxton, MBA, is an accomplished accounting professional with extensive experience in managing financial operations across various educational institutions and organizations. Currently serving as the Accounting Manager at Morehouse College since August 2010, Kamilah collaborates with the Associate Vice President/Controller overseeing accounting functions and preparing external audit materials. Previously, Kamilah held the position of General Accounting Manager at Clark Atlanta University, notable for reducing the month-end close deadline and establishing essential accounting processes. Additionally, Kamilah worked as an Accounting Supervisor at UPS, where responsibilities included liaising with cost center coordinators and preparing business plans for corporate cost centers. Kamilah earned an MBA in Accounting from Keller Graduate School of Management and a BA in Accounting from Clark Atlanta University.
