Ferran Recio Calderó has extensive work experience in the field of software development. Ferran joined UPCnet in January 2005 and served as a Lead Software Developer for a duration of 14 years until October 2019. During this time, they also worked at Moodle as a Developer starting in October 2019. In addition to their software development roles, they also worked as an Associate Lecturer at Universitat de Barcelona from March 2019 to June 2019. Furthermore, they worked as a Computer Engineer at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya from January 2004 to December 2004.

Ferran Recio Calderó's education history is as follows:

From 2000 to 2005, they attended Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya and obtained a Licentiate degree in Computer Science.

Ferran then pursued an Engineer's degree in Computer Software Engineering from 2006 to 2008 at the same university.

Between 2008 and 2010, Ferran completed their Master of Science (MSc) in Computer Science at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.

Subsequently, from 2010 to 2018, they attended Universitat de Barcelona and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) in Art/Art Studies, General.

In addition to their formal education, Ferran obtained several certifications. In 2015, they completed the "breaking-the-ice-with-regular-expressions" and "shaping-up-with-angular-js" courses at Code School. Ferran also became a certified Professional Scrum Master I through Scrum.org in January 2015. Furthermore, in February 2014, they obtained the ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from AXELOS Global Best Practice.
