Paul Basel has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and positions. Their most recent role was as the Vice President of Supply Chain at Montville Plastics & Rubber, starting in November 2018. Prior to that, they owned Sunshine Consulting from 2004 to 2018, where they were responsible for designing, developing, and sourcing products both domestically and internationally. Paul also managed and mentored various teams within the company. From 2012 to 2018, Paul worked as the Director of Sourcing at Winston Products, procuring product lines from various countries. Paul was the Managing Partner at Novelty Ventures Inc. from 2003 to 2007, overseeing operations at retail stores in the Cleveland Metro-parks Zoo. Paul served as the President of Toy Network from 2000 to 2002 and held the position of Director of Revenue at Six Flags from 1997 to 1999. Their early career included a role as the Director of Merchandise at Funtime Inc. (Geauga Lake amusement Park) from 1992 to 1997.

Paul Basel has completed a Bachelor's degree in Business and Organizational Communication from The University of Akron.
