Karim Hamel is an experienced technical lead and software developer with a background in financial software systems and technology development. Since February 2012, Karim has served as the Technical Lead for Delivery and Compliance at the Montréal Exchange, overseeing the development of financial software projects for the Canadian Derivatives Clearing Corporation, managing a team of analyst programmers, and participating in recruitment and training. Prior experience includes leading frontend development for repo trades at the Montréal Exchange and senior software development roles at Bluestreak Technologies and SolVision inc, where Karim designed and implemented various software solutions. A Bachelor of Science in Computer Science was obtained from Université Badji Mokhtar de Annaba between 1990 and 1995.
