Kimberly J. Koch has served as a member of Montgomery County Community College’s Board of Trustees since 2021. Kimberly is a dedicated educator who brings a passion for student success, inclusivity, and academics to her role on the board. Having spent the last 17 years teaching English to students at various levels in the Central Bucks School District, Kimberly has an understanding of student needs, committing herself to help students prepare to enter higher education and eventually the workforce. Over the course of her teaching career, she has designed and taught numerous standards-based lessons in literature, grammar, writing, and speaking, with a focus on Common Core standards.
Kimberly also serves as Vice Chair of the Whitpain Township Board of Supervisors where she has successfully executed initiatives dedicated to inclusivity and protecting open spaces. She brings a passion for empowering community members of all backgrounds and addressing issues of inequality throughout the Montgomery County area. She also recently oversaw the purchase of the Mermaid Swim Club to ensure the preservation of the 63-acre facility as a recreational outdoor space for the broader community.
