Alexandru C. is an experienced trader, currently working at MONTFORT since March 2023, following a tenure at Ameropa from September 2017 to February 2023, where responsibilities included operations on the Black Sea desk. Prior roles include trading cocoa beans in West Africa at Barry Callebaut Group from September 2016 to August 2017 and focusing on oilseeds, soybeans, and pulses with Black Sea relevance at Archer Daniels Midland Company from June 2012 to August 2016. Alexandru began a career in trading as a commercial trainee focused on cocoa beans in West Africa and previously worked as an analyst at Activ Insolv Expert and interned with Real System Consult.
