Luciana Leo has been working in the field of research for over 10 years. Luciana began their career in 2010 as an Undergraduate Research Fellow at the Federal Fluminense University Neurobiology Department Laboratory of Developmental Neurobiology. Luciana then moved to the D'Or Institute for Research and Education in 2012 as an Undergraduate Research Fellow. In 2013, they became a Graduate Research Fellow at Fundação Oswaldo Cruz. From 2016 to 2022, they were a Postdoctoral Research Fellow and Graduate Research Assistant at Temple University - Lewis Katz School of Medicine. Currently, they are a Scientist II at Montana Molecular, LLC.
Luciana Leo completed a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences and Neuroscience from Universidade Federal Fluminense in 2013. Luciana then went on to earn a Master's degree in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from Fiocruz in 2015. Luciana is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Biomedical Sciences and Neuroscience from Temple University - Lewis Katz School of Medicine and is expected to graduate in 2021.
