Daniel Turcotte is a seasoned professional in the music industry, currently serving as Senior Director, Commercial at Monstercat since November 2014, with previous roles in the company including Commercial Director and Head of Business Affairs. In addition to extensive experience at Monstercat, Daniel holds the position of Vice President of the Board of Directors at Music BC Industry Association and is a member of the Board of Directors for the Canadian Independent Music Association, contributing to various committees focused on industry development. Daniel has also engaged with academic institutions as a guest lecturer at The University of British Columbia and served on the advisory panel for Creative BC. With a Master of Arts in Popular Music and Culture and a Certificate in Entertainment Law, Daniel's background includes founding and leading initiatives for Unity Charity during the early career.
