Mikael Pelkey is an Assistant District Attorney at the Monroe County Office of the District Attorney since October 2021, with previous roles as a Criminal Law Assistant and Legal Intern. Prior experience includes serving as a Judicial Extern for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, where research and drafting were key responsibilities, and working as a Law Clerk at Crisp and Associates Military Law, focusing on military legal matters. During legal education at Widener University Commonwealth Law School, Mikael was also a Central PA Law Clinic Certified Legal Intern, managing client databases and drafting legal documents. Earlier roles encompass various internships, including with Senators Charles E. Schumer and Kirsten E. Gillibrand, alongside positions in student organizations and campaign work. Mikael holds a JD from Widener University and a BA in Public Relations and Economics from the State University of New York at Oswego.
