Shyam Masrani is a Principal in the Medicxi investment team. Prior to joining Medicxi, Shyam founded two early-stage biotechnology companies (Shyden Biotechnology and Cleavr Therapeutics) and consulted for a number of venture capital firms and their portfolio companies.

Shyam obtained a BSc in Biochemistry and a Masters in Translational Medicine from Imperial College London.
