Sr. Electrical and Embedded Systems Engineer at Monogram Orthopaedics

Marius Ghita has a diverse work experience spanning various engineering roles. Marius is currently employed as a Sr. Electrical and Embedded Systems Engineer at Monogram Orthopaedics since April 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Integer Holdings Corporation from 2011 to 2022, starting as a Test Engineer and progressing to the role of Sr. Test Engineer. Marius also had a role as a Spacegrant Intern at NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration in 2010. Earlier in their career, Marius worked as a Test Engineer at Maxtek (now Tektronix Component Solutions) from 2001 to 2009 and as a Graduate Engineering Intern at Tektronix in 2001. Marius also had a graduate engineering internship at Planar Systems in 2000, where they conducted optical experiments and measurements to improve LCD displays. Additionally, they gained early engineering experience as an Engineering Intern at ETEC in 1998.

Marius Ghita has an extensive education history. Marius obtained their PhD in Applied Physics from Portland State University, where they studied from 2006 to 2016. Prior to that, they earned their MS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the same institution in 2004. Marius holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Physics from Portland State University, which they completed from 1997 to 2001. Additionally, Marius Ghita has obtained two certifications: "Introduction to Risk Management for Medical Devices and ISO 14971" and "Introduction to Safety for Electrical Medical Devices and IEC 60601" from Greenlight Guru in November 2022 and October 2022 respectively.
