Lauren Smith, OTR/L, MOT, is an experienced occupational therapist currently employed at Monkey Mouths, LLC since August 2022, specializing in treating children with conditions such as Autism and sensory processing difficulties. Prior experience includes a role at Synaptic Pediatric Therapies where Lauren evaluated and treated children with various diagnoses and collaborated with speech-language pathologists. Lauren has completed multiple fieldwork placements during their education at Texas Woman's University, gaining hands-on experience in different pediatric settings, including Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children. Lauren holds a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Texas Woman's University and a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Texas A&M University.
