Kit Yarrow, Ph.D., is a distinguished consumer psychologist and contributor for MONEY Magazine and Money.com since September 2016. With an extensive consulting background through Yarrow Consulting since 1990, Kit specializes in ethnography, consumer research, and has served as a keynote speaker and author. Kit is also Professor Emeritus at Golden Gate University, where a 25-year tenure included teaching various subjects such as Research, Family Therapy, and Consumer Behavior, along with significant contributions as Chair of the Faculty Senate and recipient of multiple awards for excellence in service and scholarship. Prior to this role, Kit chaired the Department of Psychology from 1990 to 2014. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Psychology from The Wright Institute, obtained between 1987 and 1992.
