Alexei Cornea is an experienced IT professional with a strong background in network infrastructure management and design. Currently serving as Manager of Systems Infrastructure at Moneris since September 2017, Alexei is responsible for overseeing a complex network environment that serves over 400 employees and external customers, implementing best practices that ensure minimal downtime. Previous roles include Team Manager for Infrastructure & Network Services at CGI and Network and Telecommunication Analyst at SNC-Lavalin, where Alexei was involved in complex network design and VoIP infrastructure support. Alexei's career also includes positions as a Network Administrator at Gameloft and Networks Administrator at I.M. Telemedia Group S.A., along with foundational experience in communication equipment installation at MEGADAT.COM SRL and systems administration at the National Institute of Economics and Information. Alexei holds a Bachelor's Degree in Physics from Universitatea de Stat din Moldova.
