Laura Bienfait LLM CCP has over 30 years of experience in the legal and compliance field. Laura is currently serving as the Head of Compliance at Mondu, a Berlin-based Fintech company. Prior to this, Laura held the same position at Trustmoore. Laura also worked at Intertrust Group as the Director of Regulatory Compliance and Governance and Senior Legal Counsel.

Earlier in their career, Laura worked as a Corporate Lawyer and Candidate Civil Law Notary at Jones Day, Baker McKenzie, and De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek. Laura also served as the Founder and General Manager of StarKidz, where they managed the operations in Beijing, Shanghai, and Cairo.

Laura holds an LLM degree and CCP certification. Throughout their career, they have gained extensive expertise in regulatory compliance, corporate law, and governance.

Laura Bienfait LLM CCP has a diverse education history that spans several decades. Laura began their education at Utrecht University, where they obtained a Master (LLM) in Dutch Law with a focus on Corporate Law from 1983 to 1987. Laura then pursued their interest in Notarial Law and completed a Master (LLM) degree at the University of Amsterdam from 1987 to 1990. Following this, Laura attended Radboud University from 1990 to 1993, where they completed a Post Graduate Legal Training Program, specifically the Notarial Professional Training Program (Notariele Beroepsopleiding).

In 2010, Laura further expanded their legal knowledge by studying Corporate Law from A to Z at the University of Amsterdam. In 2015, they briefly attended Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) and participated in the VU Law Academy's Mergers & Acquisitions program. Continuing their commitment to professional development, Laura enrolled in the Governance Institute Program for Supervisory Board members at Erasmus University Rotterdam, which they completed from 2019 to 2020.

Most recently, in 2021, Laura has been pursuing their professional development in the field of compliance. Laura enrolled in and completed the Certified Compliance Professional (CCP) program at the Nederlands Compliance Instituut in 2022.
