Ismael Roig is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the food and beverage industry as well as finance. Currently serving as a Board Member at MONBAKE and FoodDrinkEurope, Ismael Roig plays a significant role in leading initiatives in the retail bakery sector and representing the European Food industry. At Archer Daniels Midland Company since 2005, Ismael Roig has held multiple leadership positions, including President for EMEA and Global Animal Nutrition, Interim Chief Financial Officer, President of Global BioSolutions, and Chief Strategy Officer, driving strategic direction and overseeing significant growth across various markets. Prior experience includes a Board Member role at GRUMA and several finance-related positions at General Motors, where responsibilities spanned regional treasury management and European capital markets. Ismael Roig holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business, an MSc in Production Engineering from Cranfield University, and a BSc in Engineering Science from the University of Reading.
