Keone Hon's work experience begins in 2011 as a Quant at Getco LLC, where they worked until 2013. From 2013 onwards, Keone worked at Jump Trading, LLC, serving as the Quant/Trading Team Lead until 2021. In this role, they were responsible for leading a high-frequency trading team, optimizing performance, conducting strategy research, and utilizing machine learning for price forecasting. In 2021, Keone joined Jump Crypto as a Quantitative Developer, where they worked until 2022. Currently, Keone is the Co-Founder and CEO of Monad Labs, a blockchain company focused on optimizing the Ethereum Virtual Machine for decentralized application development.

Keone Hon attended Phillips Exeter Academy from 2004 to 2007. After completing high school, Keone then pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science and Mathematics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) from 2007 to 2011. During this time, Keone also completed a Master of Engineering (M.Eng) degree in Computer Science at MIT from 2010 to 2011. Additionally, Keone pursued a Master of Finance degree at MIT from 2010 to 2011.
