Robi Rawl is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in advocacy, education, and community outreach. As the Founding Executive Director of Sugar Free Kids Maryland from 2013 to 2016, Robi led a coalition that expanded from 5 to over 200 organizations, promoting healthy food and drink choices for Maryland's children. Prior work includes organizing and advocacy consulting with the Marylanders to Prevent Gun Violence Education Fund, where Robi played a key role in passing the Firearm Safety Act of 2013, as well as consulting in health care reform outreach for Maryland Citizens' Health Initiative. Robi's background includes roles in education, community resource development through the U.S. Peace Corps, and teaching Spanish, demonstrating a commitment to enhancing community well-being and empowerment through diverse initiatives. Educational qualifications include a Master of Social Work from the University of Maryland and dual Bachelor's degrees in Anthropology and Art History from the University of Maryland.
