Waldo Wenhold has a diverse work experience in the field of user experience and front-end development. Waldo started their career as a Web and Internal Systems Developer at Vox DataPro in 2004 and worked there until 2006. Waldo then joined Discovery Digital Networks as a Front-end Developer from 2007 to 2008. Waldo then worked at FNB eBucks as a UX Analyst and Front-end Developer from 2008 to 2012. Waldo continued their professional journey at eNCA (eNews Channel Africa) as a UI/Front-end Lead from 2012 to 2014. Afterwards, they joined Absa Group as a Senior User Experience Designer from 2014 to 2016. Currently, they are working at Momentum as a User Experience Specialist and has recently been promoted to the role of Principal User Experience Designer in 2022.

Waldo Wenhold obtained a BTech degree in Information Technology with a focus on Web and Application Development from Tshwane University of Technology in the years 2000 to 2003. In 2013, they attended the AAA School of Advertising for a course in Graphic Design. Waldo also holds certifications as a Certified Usability Analyst from Human Factors International, obtained in September 2019, and in Human-Computer Interaction from Coursera, obtained in November 2012.
