Ashley Louise Stanford is a dedicated conservation professional currently serving as a Conservation Intern at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art since June 2023. With experience as a Graduate Fellow at Winterthur/University of Delaware Program in Art Conservation and previous roles including Graduate Conservation Intern at Gawain Weaver Art Conservation and various internships at notable institutions such as The Menil Collection and the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, Ashley has developed a comprehensive skill set in art conservation. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Art Conservation from the University of Delaware, expected in 2024, and a Bachelor of Arts in Art History, Criticism, and Conservation from The University of Texas at Austin, completed in 2015. Additionally, Ashley has engaged in roles that blend teaching and preservation, demonstrating a commitment to both the conservation field and art education.
