Allison Cox has extensive experience in early childhood education and program coordination, currently serving as the Planning Director, Grant Writer, Coaching Specialist, and Site Supervisor at Mohawk Valley Community Action Agency since October 2016. In this role, Allison ensures compliance with Head Start Performance Standards and New York State licensing requirements while overseeing staff training and classroom observations. Prior experience includes positions as an Educator and Infant-Toddler Specialist at Smithsonian Early Enrichment Center and a Research Assistant with SERP Institute, where Allison contributed to a collaborative project with Harvard University. Allison's educational background includes a Master of Education in Human Development & Psychology from Harvard Graduate School of Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Syracuse University.
