Vijay Patil has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Vijay is currently serving as the Aftermarket Cum Growth Initiatives, Channel Development Head at MeTL Group, a position they started in 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Cummins India, where they held various roles including Deputy General Manager, Executive Key Account Manager Sales, Service and Spares, Sr. Manager Sales Spares and Service KAM, and Sr. Manager Sales DAM. Their tenure at Cummins India began in 2016. Before joining Cummins India, they worked at Simba Group as the Regional Manager for Sales, Service, and Spares Operations from 2014 to 2016. Vijay has also worked at Mahindra and Mahindra Limited, where they held the position of Sr. Territory Manager for Sales and Customer Operations from 2012 to 2014. Additionally, they have experience working at wheels india limited as KAM-OEM Sales and Customer Quality from 2010 to 2012, and at JindalSoft Italia Seating(P) Ltd as KAM-OEM Sales and Customer Quality from 2006 to 2010.

Vijay Patil pursued their Master of Business Administration degree from 2004 to 2006 at Visvesvaraya Technological University. During this time, their area of focus was marketing.
