Hugo Antonio Caliman has gained diverse experience in the healthcare field through various volunteer roles, including serving as a volunteer in the MRI Department at Moffitt Cancer Center since September 2024, where support is provided to patients receiving radiation and staff assistance is rendered. Concurrently, Caliman is volunteering at AdventHealth as both an Endoscopy Center Support Volunteer, offering clerical and administrative support, and as a Front Desk Support Volunteer, navigating patients through the facility to alleviate confusion. Previous experience includes a tenure as Treasurer for the American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, managing fundraising efforts, and a shadowing position in the dermatology field at Suncoast Skin Solutions. Caliman’s educational background includes pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences at the University of South Florida, following the completion of a high school diploma at Montverde Academy.
