Tasha Dennis, MPP, is an accomplished legal professional and strategist with extensive experience in public affairs and advocacy. Currently serving as President of the Cannabis Law Student Association at Texas Southern University, Tasha focuses on facilitating careers in cannabis law for law students and alumni. As the Founder and Principal of Woven Strategies, Tasha has developed a unique public affairs strategy, leveraging over a decade of experience across multiple states. Tasha has also contributed to various legal and governmental organizations, including roles as a Legislative Intern for the Texas House of Representatives and a Judicial Law Clerk at the Fourteenth Court of Appeals. Tasha holds a Master's Degree in Public Policy from New England College and a Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Tulane University.
