Georgina (Gina) Vela is an experienced communications professional currently serving as an Associate Account Executive at KGBTexas Communications since September 2020, where prior to this role, held the position of Account Coordinator. Before joining KGBTexas, Gina worked as a Public Relations Apprentice at MVW Communications for a brief period, contributing to content creation and education regarding public relations tactics. Gina also gained experience as a Public Relations and Marketing Intern at MarketVision, focusing on consumer insights and collaborating on public relations campaigns. Earlier in 2019, as a Sales and Marketing Assistant at Club Pilates, Gina enhanced brand awareness and forged local business partnerships through community events and social media engagement. Gina holds a degree in Communications with a focus on Public Relations/Image Management from The University of Texas at San Antonio, complemented by international study experience at Chiang Mai University.
