Luke Burras has had a diverse range of work experience throughout their career. Luke began their career at New Crofton Coop Colliery as a Consultant, where they were responsible for Clean coal and Gasification projects. Luke then moved on to SYNGENTA UK LIMITED, where they held various roles including Reliability Engineer, Production Engineer, and Utilities and Infrastructure Engineering Manager. Most recently, they served as the Chief Operating Officer at Mobile Power, and prior to that, they were the Commercial Director at the same company.

Luke Burras completed their education in a chronological order. Luke first attended The University of Sheffield from 2007 to 2011, where they obtained a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Mechanical Engineering. After that, from 2013 to 2016, they enrolled at the Institution of Mechanical Engineers and earned a Chartership in Business, Management, and Engineering. Most recently, in the year 2020 to 2021, Luke attended the Global Infrastructure Programme, where they pursued a Foundation degree in International Business Case Development for Infrastructure.
