Michael Schoen is a Member at Large at MMA Global. Michael has over 20 years of experience in product and technology strategy.
Michael was previously the EVP, Product at IPG Mediabrands from January 2010 to December 2014. In this role, they were responsible for driving the product strategy, platform development, and ad technology partnerships that enable Mediabrands’ programmatic solutions across all addressable media. Michael expanded Cadreon offerings to include digital video, social, mobile, and linear TV. In addition, they provided comprehensive audience segmentation, analytics, and media campaign optimization solutions. The solution was launched to 20 local entities, servicing 47 global markets.
Prior to their role at IPG Mediabrands, Michael was the Vice President / General Manager, Advertising Platforms at LookSmart from January 2000 to December 2010. In this role, they were responsible for the technology strategy and product development for LookSmart’s advertising platform business.
Before LookSmart, Michael was the Director, Technology at Zeal Media, Inc. from January 1999 to December 2000. In this role, they were responsible for the technology strategy and product development for Zeal’s online advertising business.
Michael started their career as the Director, Technology at Warner Music Group from January 1996 to December 1999. In this role, they were responsible for the technology strategy and product development for Warner Music Group’s online music business.
Michael Schoen completed an AB in Computer Science and Economics at Harvard University. Michael then went on to complete an MBA in Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Data Analysis & Statistics at the UCLA Anderson School of Management.
