Dr. Marco Lafrentz is a seasoned professional in the telecommunications and technology sectors, currently serving as Vice President of Business and Market Development at netnumber Global Data Services since October 2022 and as a Global Board Member at the Mobile Ecosystem Forum since February 2024. Prior to these roles, Dr. Lafrentz held various positions at tyntec from December 2013 to October 2022, including Vice President of Products and Director of Business Line CPaaS. Dr. Lafrentz's academic background includes a Doctorate in Physics, obtained from TU Dortmund University, where research focused on nonlinear optics in semiconductors, alongside experience as an assistant lecturer.
