J.B. Waggoner is the current Chairman at Moberly Area EDC. Prior to this, they were with Inovatia Laboratories, LLC, and before that they held various positions with Commercial Trust Company, Fayette Environmental Services, Inc., Central Methodist University, and the University of Missouri.

J.B. has been in the working world for over 30 years now, and has accrued a wealth of experience in operations, sales, marketing, and teaching. J.B.'s experience in academia has been particularly valuable to him in their current role as Chairman, where they are responsible for overseeing the economic development of the Moberly area.

J.B. is a passionate advocate for education and has served on the board of trustees for Central Methodist University for over 15 years. In this role, they have been instrumental in helping the university grow and expand its facilities. J.B. is also a member of the Executive Committee and the Chair of the Buildings and Grounds Committee.

J.B. is a dedicated public servant who cares deeply about making their community a better place to live and work. J.B. is an active member of the Rotary Club of Moberly and has served on the board of directors for several local organizations. J.B. is committed to helping businesses thrive in Moberly and to creating jobs for its residents.

J.B. Waggoner completed a Master of Music degree at the University of Missouri-Columbia and a Bachelor of Music Education at Central Methodist University.
