Tor E. Bjørstad is a Principal Consultant specializing in Detection and Response at mnemonic, where responsibilities include leading application security consulting services with a focus on web and mobile applications, secure software development, cloud security, and security architecture. Holding multiple leadership roles, including serving as a board member and acting head of the Technical Risk Services department, Tor has extensive experience in IT security consulting from previous positions at Accenture and as a co-owner of Te med stor T AS. With a strong academic background, including a PhD in Cryptology from the University of Bergen and an MSc in Mathematics from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Tor has contributed to the field through research fellowships and visiting scholar positions.
