Kurt Hopf, PE has a diverse work experience in engineering spanning over several years. Kurt currently holds the position of Senior Engineer at M&J Engineering, P.C. since August 2020. Prior to this, Kurt worked as a Civil Engineer in the Public Buildings Service at GSA from March 2020 to August 2020, where they were involved in the Martin Luther King Jr. Federal Courthouse Roof Replacement project worth $2.6 million.

From June 2014 to February 2020, Kurt worked at Churchill Consulting Engineers as an Office Engineer/Lead Inspector. Before that, they worked at Ammann & Whitney as an Office Engineer/Inspector from June 2010 to June 2014. Kurt started their career as an Engineering Intern at Ammann & Whitney from June 2008 to January 2009.

Kurt Hopf, PE completed their education at Rutgers University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from 2006 to 2010. Prior to that, they attended Paramus Catholic High School between 2002 and 2006. Kurt has remained committed to continuous professional development and has obtained several additional certifications. In 2016, they completed the Concrete Construction Technology Course offered by the American Concrete Institute - NJ Chapter, as well as earning their Professional Engineer certification from the New Jersey State Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors. Additionally, they obtained the Traffic Control Coordinator qualification from Rutgers CAIT and the Construction Technologist certificate from the NJ Society of Asphalt Technologists, both in 2016. In 2012, Kurt achieved the LEED Green Associate certification from the Green Building Certification Institute. Kurt also holds the Grade I qualification from the American Concrete Institute and has completed the OSHA 10 Hour Construction Industry Outreach program from OSHA, although the specific dates for these certifications are not provided.
