Ashraf Takla has over 35 years of experience in the IC and electronics industries. Ashraf began their career in 1982 as a Circuit Design Engineer at American Microsystems Inc. In 1984, they moved to PMC-Sierra as a Senior Mixed-Signal Design Engineer. In 1992, Ashraf became the Director of Mixed-Signal Design at Hitachi Micro Systems Inc. In 1998, they took on the role of Director of Mixed-Signal Design at Veridicom, and also founded and became the CEO of Mixel, Inc., a leading provider of mixed-signal IP cores.
Ashraf Takla obtained a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Cairo University between 1973 and 1977. Ashraf then pursued a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from San Diego State University from 1978 to 1979, followed by a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the same university from 1980 to 1981.
