Derek Abbott currently serves as a Senior Business Intelligence & Strategy Manager at Mitek Systems, focusing on product strategy for the Check Fraud Defender Bank Consortium and managing key customer and partner relationships. As a Founding Member of The House of Fraud, contributions are being made to fraud prevention efforts. Prior experience includes a Project Manager role at FORM, where Derek facilitated communication between clients and R&D, helped implement data analytics models, created a knowledge base, and managed large projects. At Orbograph, Derek held multiple positions, including Senior Product Specialist, where responsibilities included supporting sales, providing technical support, and leading fraud prevention initiatives. Derek began a career at Eastern Bank, ascending through various roles to Assistant Branch Manager, and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Salem State University.
