Aryan Afrouzi is currently a Core Team Member at MIT-PITT-RW and a Co-Founder of a stealth startup focused on EV infrastructure and energy storage, both roles initiated in January and June 2024 respectively. Afrouzi serves as Vehicle Platform Director at WATonomous since September 2022, and held positions as a Hardware Engineer at frenter and a Computer Engineering Intern at Teledyne FLIR in 2023. Previous experience includes work as a Software Developer at Swap Robotics and as Electrical Lead at Sir John A. MacDonald Secondary School, where responsibilities included designing and fabricating electrical hardware for vehicles. In addition, Afrouzi was a Software Engineer with Defence Industry & Innovation in 2020. Education includes a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Waterloo, expected to be completed in 2026, and a secondary education from Laurel Heights Secondary School.
