Lisa Smith, LMSW, has served as the State Long Term Care Ombudsman for the Mississippi State Government since June 2020, advocating for the rights of residents in long term care facilities. Prior to this role, Lisa spent over two decades with the MS Army National Guard, culminating as the Senior Human Resources NCO. Educationally, Lisa holds a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from Mississippi College and a Master of Social Work from The University of Alabama.
