Peter Mason is a seasoned data and software engineer with extensive experience in developing and optimizing data pipelines and software solutions across various industries. Currently serving as a Senior Data Engineer at MissionWired since May 2022, Peter has successfully created and enhanced data pipelines for over 100 clients, while also establishing a staging environment that improves team workflows. Previously at Microsoft from July 2017 to April 2021, Peter contributed as a Software Engineer for Azure Search, ensuring the stability and performance of a large-scale cloud service. Additionally, Peter worked as a Data Scientist, developing tools that significantly improved operations within the company. Earlier experiences include software development internships at Penn State Applied Research Laboratory, JPMorgan Chase & Co., and IBM, focusing on data visualization, internal financial services, and API development. Peter holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Actuarial Mathematics from Schreyer Honors College at Pennsylvania State University.
