Christopher Perry, DVM has a diverse range of work experience in the veterinary field. Their most recent position is with Mission Veterinary Partners, where they started as a Veterinarian in September 2020 and later became the Medical Director in June 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Veterinarian at Shallowford Animal Hospital and Mission Veterinary Partners - Shallowford Animal Hospital.

Christopher also has experience as an Emergency Veterinarian at Veterinary Care and Specialty Group, where they handled a variety of complex cases and performed surgeries. Christopher worked as an Associate Veterinarian at Hilton Animal Hospital, focusing on preventive medicine and client education.

Earlier in their career, Christopher completed a rotating internship at Regional Institute for Veterinary Emergency & Referrals, which provided exposure to various specialties including Emergency Medicine. Christopher also served as a Student Ambassador at the University of Georgia, College of Veterinary Medicine and as the Captain of the Small Animal Treatment Crew at UGA Small Animal Teaching Hospital.

In addition, Christopher gained experience through a student job program at Banfield Pet Hospital during their studies. Throughout their career, they have participated in outreach events, teaching opportunities, and media interviews to further contribute to the veterinary community.

Christopher Perry, DVM pursued their education in a chronological manner. Christopher first attended Valdosta State University from 2007 to 2011 and obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Biological Sciences. In 2011, they enrolled at The University of Georgia, where they completed their Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in Companion Animal Medicine from 2011 to 2015. Additionally, in 2012, Christopher participated in the Brazil/USA Veterinary Student Exchange Program at Universidade Federal de Santa Maria, although no specific degree was mentioned for this program.
