Stuart Smoot is an accomplished professional in the pharmaceutical and consumer product industries with extensive experience in analytical development and project management. Currently serving as the Director of Analytical Development and Pharmaceutical Development Project Manager at Mission Pharmacal since November 2013, Stuart is responsible for managing the development of new pharmaceutical drug products. Prior roles include Program Manager and Sr. Technical Liaison at DPT Laboratories, where Stuart oversaw diverse pharmaceutical development projects and facilitated communication between R&D and business teams. Additional experience includes serving as a freelance proofreader for WordFire Press and working as a Scientist at Pharmacia and Upjohn and Gillette, focusing on the development of OTC dosage forms and consumer product formulations. Stuart holds a B.S. in Chemistry from the Rochester Institute of Technology and an M.A. in English from Western Michigan University.
