Carolynn Duncan has a diverse work experience in various roles and organizations. Carolynn currently works as a Fractional CFO at Mission Edge, where they help nonprofits and small businesses maximize their social impact. Carolynn is also a Board Member at Because International. In the past, Carolynn was the CEO of TenX.org, an open-source business frameworks education company. Carolynn also served as a Special Instructor at Brigham Young University - Hawaii. Carolynn has been actively involved in the social venture capital and impact investment space. Carolynn was a Founding Partner at NorthWest Social Venture Fund and the Founder of Social Venture Society. Additionally, they founded Portland Ten, a marathon event, and The Hundred Dollar Business, where they started micro-businesses with limited resources. Carolynn also gained experience in the financial consulting and entrepreneur education field as a Regional Fund Representative at Epic Ventures and the Northwest Regional Director at FundingUniverse.com.

Carolynn Duncan earned their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Executive MBA from Brigham Young University Marriott School of Business, which was completed between 2016 and 2018. Prior to that, they pursued post-graduate studies at Brigham Young University from 2003 to 2006, focusing on English Language and Literature (Editing), Dance, and Entrepreneurship Studies. Carolynn also holds a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts from Brigham Young University - Idaho, earned between 2000 and 2004.
