Maria Soong has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Maria began their career as a Research Associate II at UCLA School of Medicine in 1997. Maria then worked as an Analyst at Andersen Consulting from 1999 to 2000. From 2000 to 2001, they served as a Marketing Associate at DoubleTwist, Inc. Maria later joined Affymetrix in 2002 and held roles as a Marketing Specialist and an Account Development Manager/Inside Sales Specialist until 2013 when the company was acquired by Thermo Fisher Scientific. Following their time at Affymetrix, Maria worked at Station X as a Sales Specialist from 2013 to 2016. Maria then became a Biotech Sales/Business Development Consultant at Fabric Genomics from 2017 to 2018. Maria has most recently worked at Mission Bio as a Sales/Business Development Consultant and is currently the Head of Inside Sales/Business Development.
