Paul Uithol is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in humanitarian data and program management, currently serving as the Director of Humanitarian Data and Director of Programs at the Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Team since March 2015. Uithol oversees international teams and participatory mapping initiatives across various countries, managing large-scale projects and advocating for open data and open-source solutions. Prior roles include serving as a Project Manager and OpenStreetMap Trainer, as well as positions in software architecture and technology leadership at companies such as Progressive Planning and SMARTposition. Uithol holds an MSc in Telematics from the University of Twente and a BSc in Geo-Information Science from ITC.
