John has a BS in Accountancy from the University of Illinois Champaign, Illinois, and an MS in Taxation from DePaul University. He has worked as a CPA since 1977. In 1990, John was appointed Managing Partner at Peter Shannon & Company. He is a long-time volunteer and 'Thursday Sports Coordinator’ at Misericordia Home and was appointed to the Board of Directors in 2005.
