Josie DeShong, LMSW, has extensive experience in social work, currently serving as a Case Manager at MIRCI since August 2020. Prior to this role, Josie held positions as a Graduate Research Assistant at both the Research, Evaluation and Measurement Center from June 2020 to May 2021 and the Carolina Family Engagement Center from October 2019 to May 2021. Additionally, Josie contributed as a Foundation Year Social Work Intern at the Richland County Public Defender's Office: Juvenile Re-Entry Program from September 2019 to May 2020 and worked as a Mental Health Technician at The Carolina Center For Behavioral Health from January 2019 to September 2019. Josie earned a Master of Social Work - MSW degree in Health and Mental Health from the University of South Carolina between 2019 and 2021.
