Meredith Hook has a wealth of work experience in the rotoscope and paint artist roles. Meredith began their career in 2001 as a Rotoscope/Paint Artist at Composit Image Systems. Meredith then went on to work as a Rotoscope/Paint Artist at Digiscope (2003), Cinesite (2003), Meteor Studios (2005), Asylum (2006), Yu + Co. (2008), CafeFX (2009), ICO (2010), and illuminate (2010). In 2012, they began working as a Rotoscope Artist and Roto Artist at Mirada Studios. As a Rotoscope Artist at Cinesite, they rotoscoped main characters for Freddy vs. Jason and X Men 2.

Meredith Hook attended U. C. L. A. from 1980 to 1983, where they earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) in General/Fine Art.
