Keau Wong is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the field of bioscience workforce development and biotechnology. Currently serving as the Director of Bioscience Workforce Development at MiraCosta College since March 2016, Keau Wong has been instrumental in developing strategic partnerships and aligning programs within California's Life Science and Biotechnology sectors across all 116 state community colleges. Previous roles include Deputy Sector Navigator for Life Sciences-Biotechnology in San Diego/Imperial County and Director of the Bioscience Workforce Development Hub for California community colleges. Keau Wong has also contributed to the industry as a CLIA Lab Specialist at Illumina Inc. and a research associate at Sanford-Burnham Medical Research Institute and California State University San Marcos. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in Biotechnology and a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences, both from California State University San Marcos, along with specialized certifications in ADMET processes, Six Sigma, and Quality Assurance and Control.
