Greg’s primary focus is on the Real Estate and Construction Practices. He has significant broad-based experience counseling and guiding real estate developers, property owners, and lenders through all aspects of real estate and construction matters. This experience includes acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures and structuring, leasing, lending, borrowing, development agreements, property management, due diligence, and confidentiality agreements. Greg also routinely assists with the real estate components of a wide variety of M&A transactions.
Prior to joining Mintz, Greg worked for a prominent law firm based in New York. There he was personally responsible for negotiating purchase and sale agreements, joint venture agreements, development agreements, property management agreements, preferred equity investments, and other related transactional matters. He has played a key representative role in many commercial real estate financing matters, including acquisition loans, construction loans, mezzanine loans, and purchases of co-lending interests and loan participations, and has closed over 200 commercial real estate loans in the aggregate amount of over $1,600,000,000.
During his time at Brooklyn Law School, he acted as Associate Managing Editor of the Brooklyn Journal of Corporate, Financial & Commercial Law.
