Dewald Olivier currently serves as the Regional Director of Information Technology & Gaming for Africa at Minor Hotels, a position held since August 2015, where responsibilities include overseeing IT and gaming architecture, coaching team members, and contributing to operational strategy and infrastructure planning. Previously, Dewald worked at Sun International from October 2004 to July 2015, advancing through roles such as IT Risk and Process Manager and Technical Specialist in Collaboration and Security, focusing on process implementation, risk assessments, and managing security-related IT functions. Dewald completed a degree in Technology Leadership in Information Technology from Cornell University in October 2023 and graduated from Roodepoort High School in 1999.
